The garden is in the middle of a block of council flats and overlooked
by many properties. It benefits people in different ways either
by direct involvement or living in an improved area.
The mosaic was made by children and adults.
5) Carved Oak bench, designed and made with the Alvey Community
Garden group and sponsored by SEA - Sustainable Energy Action.
This bench was made through a series of workshops with children
and adults. It inspired a local carpenter to buy his own chisels
and make sculpture at home.
